With the Super Bowl this week, let's look at what music to play for your Super Bowl party. Building a good all around playlist is key. You want to have both classic songs as well as current hit so that you appeal to all people. Keep the genre's upbeat. This is not the time for the slow dances or ballads. You want to build this playlist with your guest in mind. "Jake loves hip-hip. Karen likes EDM. Randall loves the classic rock and roll." You don't have to put on everyone's favorite song(but that wouldn't hurt if you know it) but just think about the genre's. Of course, as the DJ you put on some of your favorite hits. I also like to throw on some songs that get some laughs, one hit wonders usually do the trick. Just like a dip, music can make or break a moment so have fun with it.
